Welcome to the Legendary Wheel of Fate - a Highly Customizable Web Randomizer for Legendary: A Marvel Deck Building Game.
Compatible with Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile Browsers. This randomizer has many options available to create the game you want to play!
Quick Start (a.k.a. TL;DR; Version): Select the Number of Players from the Drop down, then click the Assemble! Button, and your game will be created! All cards needed to build the various decks will be shown in detail, making it easy to put the game together. Provided you have some orginization to your cards, of course.
Set - This section allows you to pick what sets to use in the randomizer. Unchecking a box will exclude that set from randomization. however, Transmogrification settings (see below) can override this setting. For example: if you unchecked the base set but in the transmogrifier chose "Spiderman" as one of your heroes, the Wheel of Fate will assemble the game putting Spiderman as one of your heroes but everything else will be from Dark City.
Difficulty - The game provides some options for setting game difficulty. Setting these options will set the game up accordingly. Of note, the new Difficulty settings from Dark City are not included. This is because they alter game play, and not game set-up.
Thematic Transmogrification - This feature has been added to give the player control to alter time and space to the point where the Randomizer would pick the selections chosen. Each random selection of the game can be overriden - Scheme, Mastermind, Villain Groups, Henchmen, and Heroes. To force a selection simple choose the desired option for the setting you want to tweak. For heroes, an extra capability to select either an individual Hero (i.e. Spiderman) or a Hero Group (i.e. Avengers). If a Hero Group is chosen for a slot the randomzier will select a member of that hero group for that slot. Use at Own Risk - We are Not responsible for Time Travel Sickeness. Some mutations may occur.
Exclusions - With exclusions you can select individual card sets to be omitted from the randomizer. The exclusion is only for exactly what you exclude - it will not cascade. For example, if you eclude Doombot Legion the randomizer will still use Dr. Doom - it should, however, give you a warning message if Dr. Doom was the selected mastermind without the Doombot Legion. The same applies for completely invalid selections - if you exclude Maggio Goons and get Crime Wave as the Scheme, the randomizer will build the game give an error message. This is done to allow the end user to decide what to do with the result - play it as is, or roll again!
Add to Excluded - Once a game is built an "Add to Excluded" button will appear at the bottom of the game. This is to help with chaining games. When this button is clicked all parts of the current game will be added to the exclusion list.
